Hi girls,

Good to hear from you AT LAST Katie. Yeah, please, for the love of Jesus and all that his holy, stay away from the mullet. Unless that's a style expected to return sometime soon.

I'll look through Maw's attic for that book, Shannon. If I find it, I'll give it to you this weekend.

Katie, I read "On the Road." Well, OK. I read parts of it. I found it to be pretty choppy. Right now I'm reading "The Secret History" by Tartt (can't remember her first name). A VERY good book, indeed!!!

Hey Shan,

Wednesday won't work for me. How do you feel about the three of us going out this weekend? Maybe to a movie and dinner? Let me know your thoughts.

One more thing, everyone...

I'd like Christmas gift ideas from all three of you. Either send me an email (wendy@wendytownley.com) or just post your suggestions here. Remember, this year's holiday shopping season is six days shorter!!!

Hi girls,

Happy Sunday. I received a tongue-lashing from Katie last night about not posting to Blogger, so here I am. Wild and free. Picked up some great cosmetics at the Clinique counter at Von Maur yesterday. I also nabbed the CUTEST red courderouy knee-length skirt there for $16. What a steal!

While surfing the web last night, I came across two websites y'all might enjoy: www.vernyip.com and www.paigedavis.com. Vern's website is WAY cooler than Paige's. Fast fact: Paige is her middle name. Her first name is Mindy. Ugh.

Not much to report from Omaha today. Mom is at church and I'm at home with killer cramps. Oh, the joys of womanhood.

As for who will be crowned vixen this holiday, I'm leaning towards Katie. My reason? She "broke away" from the family, as did UJ. I think he'll have a lot to say about moving away from home, blah, blah, blah.

Shannon: How pathetic is it that we've only gotten together twice since Katie moved? LAME! I'd say let's make lunch plans again, but Katie will be back in Omaha before we know it!

Love to all, and to all a good night,
-Wendy
