KATIE: What's news with you? Are your California friends still fighting? Another thought: Dad and Robin's 15th wedding anniversary is Nov. 1. Any thoughts on what we could get them?

Holy shit! This is the most posts we've had by more than Shannon and me in MONTHS! Bravo, ladies.

Shannon: Let's do dinner next Wednesday (Oct. 8). Then, we can hit the Younkers either at Oakview, Westroads or Crossroads, depending on where we eat.

Lindsey: No, I haven't been to the new Payless but it looks beautiful on the inside. The old Payless near my work closed, by the way. I'll be happy when Summer Kitchen Cafe opens. They have such tasty food; it'll be yet another reason to have lunch in Bellevue. Speaking of which, Shannon and I need to steal you away for lunch some day soon.

Katie: We miss you too! When the hell are you getting your damn cell phone fixed? Seriously! I miss being able to leave you 3 minute voicemail messages about absolutely nothing. When it's up and running, PLEASE let us know.

As for me, not much else is going on. Last night was one of the first nights I had to use my electric blanket in bed. I can't believe how cold it has gotten...and so quickly. Today, I turned on my furnace for the first time this season. My house had that dusty smell at first, but it feels so toasty. Mmmm.
