OK, Shannon. When you're ready to move forward with your Macintosh, let me know.

In other news...

Chris Machian is having a Halloween party next Saturday (Nov. 1). Anyone have ideas for a costume? I was thinking of going as a Catholic school girl, but need to track down an old uniform skirt or jumper that would fit. (I already have a white blouse, knee highs and Mary Jane shoes.) Shannon or Lindsey: Do either of you know where I could track one down?

Yes, Apple is FANTASTIC with payment plans. I imagine you have good credit, which only increases your chances of being approved for an Apple loan. And, since you're a college student, they go easy on the interest payments. It's great! When you're ready to move forward, let me know. You can come over my house and we can purchase your new Mac together!

Have you considered a laptop versus a desktop?

Shannon, it's OK. I actually hung out with Chris Machian and some of our friends from high school this weekend. As for a computer, I think you should go with an iMac or an eMac. You can purchase one from Nebraska Furniture Mart or CompUSA. Or, if you'd like, you can order one online from Apple's Web site. If you do order from Apple's Web site, you can get an educational discount because you're a college student. I'd be happy to help you through this process and setting it up once you get it.

Here's a link on the educational pricing Apple offers:
