No, I haven't received the new J. Crew catalog yet. I imagine it'll show up in today's mail. I love paging through it!! Speaking of shopping, I can't believe how close Christmas is. I was in Target Nov. 1 and they already have their holiday decorations up in the store. Jeez! Let's spend a little time on Thanksgiving, shall we?

Here's a photo of me, taken at Chris Machian's Halloween party last weekend. That's one of the Martinez girls' uniforms, whichever one is in 8th grade this year. Ha!

When my couch is delivered in about two weeks, I'll have time to evaluate different paint samples on the walls. My dad is going to paint my TV room when he's in town for Christmas. As far as the color of the couch, it's a darker green than those awful chairs I had at my apartment at 90th and Q. Ew! It's a nice green, I think.

Shannon, I think your move to elementary education is smart one. A lot of my friends from college majored in elementary ed. They've all found jobs and are really happy. If you want to talk more, let me know.

CALLING ALL INTERIOR DESIGNERS

I purchased a hunter green couch for my TV room at Nebraska Furniture Mart last week. I'd like your input on what color the walls should be. I'm leaning towards a dark purple, to give the room an eggplant affect. What do you think? The carpet in the room is about a shade or two lighter than what I have in the living room, so I'm working around that, too.
