Happy Saturday, ladies.
Lindsey, thanks for getting in touch with your friend. He can call me at work (733-7300, ext. 132), on my cell (850-5166), or he can send me an email: wendy@wendytownley.com.

If not lunch, Shannon, how about dinner? Wednesdays I have class until 7:10 p.m., so we could meet then. If not Wednesdays, I'm free for dinner Tuesdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. Think it over and let me know.

I'm seriously thinking of quitting my part-time job at Nu-Trend. Now with school, I really don't have any time to do homework. I can do some of it while at work on the weekend, but I can already see that I'll need to spend significant time at the library. It's just that my bosses @ Nu-Trend have been really good to me, in terms of money, time off, etc. Oy. I don't know what to do...

Girls, my first class went rather well. It's Intro to Literary Research, and we meet in a third-floor classroom of the UNO library. There's only eight people in the class, so it's a more relaxed environment, which I like. We'll study the MLA Handbook and different types of research methods when writing papers and working on other projects. It should be fun. Tonight is Culture of the 1960s. That should be fun!

Oh, and by the way: I got a new ID last night. My other one was AWFUL!

That's all for now. Shannon, let's do lunch (with Lindsey) sometime soon. How about next Thursday or Friday? Let me know :-)

Happy Thursday, everyone!

KATIE--KATIE--KATIE
When you get a chance, please call me. Tony Dreibus and his wife, Heather, will be in L.A. in next week. Tony is filming his episode of "Wheel of Fortune." I believe they're staying at a hotel in Culver City. At any rate, Tony and Heather want to spend at day at Disneyland on Thursday, Jan. 22. Can you get them in for free? Their home phone number is 402-502-9747. I'm going to give Tony your home phone number, if that's OK. Let me know!

Shannon, we won't need to know about your interest in our trip to California until February. That's when, I imagine, we'll buy our tickets.

And no, my mom's email isn't up and running yet. Really, it's her PC that's having trouble, not AOL or her email. It's best if you give her a call and leave a message at home: 734-0589.

Man, I have cramps today like NO OTHER. I'm at Nu-Trend now, and get to go home in about two hours. Before going home, I'm going to make a stop at SuperTarget and do some grocery shopping. I'm out of food! I have a few gift cards from there; I'm thinking of getting a George Forman grill. It's on sale at Target this week for $13.

Lindsey: Can you talk to your gay friend and see if he'd be interested in chatting with me for an article? Thanks.

Happy Sunday, ladies.
