Hey, Shannon and Lindsey. Hello from California! Thank you again for taking care of Frank. I'm glad he got used to your home, at least for a little while :-) I think he'll be OK when Matthew and I are in Denver for Thanksgiving. Perhaps you could stop by a few times while I'm gone, if that's OK. But since he's a cat, he really could be OK by himself at my house.

Here are two of today's favorite photos. Katie surprised me with a free manicure! While I was getting my nails done, Katie had her eyebrows threaded. It's similar to waxing, but is done without wax. Katie said it wasn't very painful and the results are fantastic! You be the judge.

Hello from California! I arrived around 10 this morning, West Coast time. It's 93 degrees here today. Whoa! We did plenty of shopping and are going to grill for dinner tonight. Tomorrow, it's Disneyland!

Shannon, how's Frank doing? Did the drive to Plattsmouth go OK?

Hello, Shannon. I just wanted to ask that you bring Frank's food, and make sure he eats it and not Mouse's food. The vet said he'll get diarrhea if he switches food at such a young age. Not to sound like a freak, but you know it goes...

;-)

OK, Shannon. We're on! Thank you again SO VERY MUCH. I appreciate it :-) If you run into any problems at any time, just call me. I'll have my cellphone with me at all times in California. Promise.

Hey again, Shannon. Thanks again for taking care of Frank! He's really acting crazy tonight. He just has tons of energy!

Between my washer and dryer is a brown cupboard. In there you'll find Frank's food and extra kitty litter. I don't know how easily his litter box will transport in your car, but you can certainly give it a try. Take what you'd like.

I have a kitty carrier for Frank, which I'll leave on the white table in my basement. There's a blanket in there, too, so the ride won't be as scary.

If you can find his toys (sometime he hides them), feel free to bring those, too.

Thank you SO MUCH for taking care of him. If he and Mouse don't get along, you can bring him back here before I get home on Monday. I think he'd be OK for a day or two.

Hi, Shannon. Sure, my cat can stay at your house. Not a problem! When will you pick him up? And, when will you bring him home?

And, by the way, I've changed his name again. It's Frank :-)

As promised, here's the photo of me, Jason and Rufus Wainwright (center), taken Friday night in Iowa City just hours before his concert on the University of Iowa campus.
