Katie, this has you written all over it.

How is everyone's weekend so far? Matt and I saw Bright Eyes play Sokol last night. It was so cold! I think it got down to -10 when we left around 11:30 last night. This morning, it doesn't feel much warmer.

I'm still looking for a new job! I'm growing more and more frustrated every day, but I'm attempting to remain positive that something is just around the corner. Right now I'm going after jobs at the Omaha World-Herald and Woodmen.

That's so nice that Billy brought my lotion home with him. I received his thank-you card in the mail yesterday. How sweet!

After two years of it sitting unused, I bought ink cartridges for my printer today at CompUSA. After dropping $60, I realized that my printer -- an Epson Stylus Color 777 -- refuses to load paper. I have no idea what's wrong. If I can't get the printer working, Katie, I'm going to send you these two ink cartridges. They're brand new, but I doubt CompUSA will allow me to return them since I opened them. Ugh. They will work with your printer, though. Hooray for you :-)

Also, when you purchased my Aveda gift set, you must have set me up with their rewards card. So far, I've received the little credit card, along with a bunch of coupons. How awesome! I found out that Garbo's at Oakview Mall sells Aveda. As soon as my lotion and shampoo run out, I'm stockin' up!

Katie, a few things...

(1) Did you happen to bring my hand lotion from Billy back to California?
(2) Please let me know when Billy receives his first issue of Details magazine. I received a receipt in the mail, saying he'll receive his first issue soon.
Katie, that sounds absolutely awful. You weren't joking in your v/m message last night. Does it sound like the rain will end anytime soon? What's happening to the people living below you? Will they have to leave their apartment?

It's cold here and is expected to get even colder by the end of the week. The only silver lining: Bright Eyes plays Sokol Friday night. I can't wait!

Thanks for the details about your shoes, Katie. I've checked JC Penney, Dillards and Younkers. No luck. The Younkers at Crossroads is closing. I'm going to check there on Tuesday.

Shannon and Lindsey, I have a little announcement. (Katie already knows.) Matt's moving in. I broke the news to my mom last Sunday before Katie left. She seemed a little shocked, but I think she's OK with it for now. (Or, at least, she sure fakes it rather well.) I imagine the move will take place between now and mid-February.

Katie, there's still plenty of snow here. I can't believe you missed it by just a few days! It's at the stage now where everything is sloppy and gray. Ugh. My kitchen floor is so gross, as well as my garage. It's going to be cold again pretty soon, something like 8 degrees by Thursday. No thanks!

That's all for now.
