Lindsey, congrats on your first round of classes! They sound like fun. I'm glad you're taking journalism classes your first semester, rather than wading through all the other general requirements (like math and science).
Shannon, what size of memory card does this camera come with? My Nike came with only an 8 MB card, so I upgraded to a 128 MB card for around $35. With digital pictures, you can never have too much space. I'd recommend upgrading to a bigger compact flash card, when you can afford it. You'll be happy you did :-)
