Shannon, who set you up on the blind date? Did you guys do anything after dinner at McFoster's?

Hey Lindsey, what's your mailing address in Lincoln?

Katie, I'm now drinking coffee! Well, OK. I'm drinking lattes from Caribou Coffee and Aroma's. (I still need to try Crane Coffee!) They're delicious! I'm curious, though: What's the difference between a latte and a mocha?

Also, we're doing PR for Scooter's Coffeehouse. What does everyone think of Scooter's?

Lindsey, what's your mailing address in Lincoln, your email address and phone number?

Speaking of, did you end up getting a cell phone?
Lindsey, congrats on your laptop! I assume it has a wireless card, so you can surf the Internet wirelessly. Fun stuff :-)

Shannon, keep us posted on your blind date.

Matt has a new job. He's leaving Hy Vee for a position with C.H. Robinson: http://www.chrobinson.com. He'll still be working with produce, however. When grocery stores and other businesses need more produce (say, oranges, for example), they'll call Matt. He'll coordinate with the farmers, distributors and truck drivers to have the goods delivered. He starts in mid-September. Their offices are at 138th and Q, but will be moving to 170th and West Center in November. Still, not a bad drive for him each day.

He and I are driving to Denver for Labor Day weekend. We're visiting his brother and Robin while we're there. We thought we'd save money by driving (and not flying), but I can only imagine what we'll pay in gas. Thank goodness Hondas get good gas mileage!

Katie, I'd like to get Billy something for his birthday. Any ideas?
Here's an email I received from UJ this morning about his visit to Omaha next month:

the Pitt game is on Saturday, will be at Mom's house on Friday, staying until monday. Tell Mom and Aunt Lorraine I have eight tickets in my hand, six are together(Gate: 4; Section: 21; Row: 41; Seats: ninteen through twentyfour.) Additionally, have two more tickets to pick up on Monday. What we don't use, will sell. Stay in touch, love/ Uncle Johnny
Hello all!

Lindsey, congrats on making it down to Lincoln! It sounds like your first few days have gone rather well. What hall do you live in? And what fraternity is Bob in? Also (and I'm sure this is a dumb question you've been asked 2 million times), have you watched "Tommy Lee Goes to College" on NBC? I watched it for the first time last Tuesday. It makes the campus look so great! I imagine that even though they shot the show a year ago, there's still buzz about the show.

Speaking of the show, I found this link at UNL's Web site: http://tl.unl.edu/

Yes, Katie, what do you want for your birthday? Do you have anything planned? I know you and Billy are going to Florida in November, but will that count as your birthday celebration?

Shannon, how are classes? How's parking? And what's your employment status for this semester?

Not much is happening on N Street. Matt and I are driving to Denver for Labor Day weekend to visit his brother, who just moved there earlier this year. That should be fun. You can bet our visit will included a visit to the Tattered Cover Book Store.

That's all from me!
