Introducing, a new blogger layout, just in time for the fall season.

Enjoy!
Shannon, as you know, Matt and I are going to California Oct. 13-16 (Thursday-Sunday). Would you be able to check on Frank while we're gone? If not, don't worry about it. I can ask my dad or Matt's mom, both of whom live just five minutes away.

Maybe if you can't do it all four days, perhaps just Saturday and Sunday? I know your work week is pretty busy. Just let me know what works best with your schedule. I'll be sure to bring you a souvenir if you do!
Christmas 2005

Girls, judging from the calendar, Christmas is now less than three months away! I am pledging to begin shopping early this year. To do so, I need your help.

Please jot down things you need/want this year. My goal is to be finished shopping by Thanksgiving, Dec. 1 at the latest.

Thanks!

Let me give you a bit of advice, Shannon: DO NOT, UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES, AGREE TO SEE 'THE 4O-YEAR-OLD VIRGIN' THIS WEEKEND. I can tell you that the constant barrage of sex jokes will make you feel incredibly uncomfortable during the movie and after. I've been in those shoes before; it's awful!

Hi Shannon. Congrats on the movie date! I'm glad you asked for his e-mail. Did he apologize for missing all of your calls over the past few weeks? Also, did he propose the idea of a double date again? Keep us posted on how the date goes.

Look, it's going to be in the 80s this weekend. I don't think white sandals would be all that bad.

Lindsey, whose wedding are you going to?

Hi Lindsey! For what it's worth, here's my two cents: If the weather is warm enough, I think you could get away with wearing white sandles. For some reason, I remember seeing you wearing white sandles sometime over the summer. Do you own a pair?

If it's going to be chilly this weekend, I think black shoes should be fine. You might find some inexpensive shoes on clearance at Payless, maybe even red ones.

Happy Monday, girls. Did everyone have a good weekend: I didn't leave the house at all on Sunday -- and it was wonderful.

On Friday, Matt and I had dinner at the new Whole Foods Market in Regency. It's where the Burlington Coat Factory used to be. One word: delicious! We ate a bunch of salads and soups from the do-it-yourself deli. The food is great, but it is a bit on the expensive side. It's definitely worth checking out, though.
