Good luck, Lindsey! I remember that registering for classes at UNO's Web site was like bidding on an item on eBay. You check the boxes so quickly and hope you get in the class!

Wow -- this is great news! I see Sarah's name in the media all the time about her band. I've heard a few of her songs, too. She's got a fantastic voice.

Here's her band's Web site: http://www.sarahbenck.com/

After a long wait, here is Wendy's 2005 Christmas List.

Stationary, note cards, etc. I'm a huge fan of writing cards.

A new pair of slippers. I wear a size 6 1/2 or size 7 shoe.

I've discovered the beauty of vanilla lattes and other espresso drinks, so anything coffee-related is welcome: candles, stickers, coffee mugs, etc.

Running shorts. When I go jogging at the YMCA, I just wear boxer shorts. I'd like an "official" pair of exercise shorts. Size medium should work.

Candles from the Bath and Body Works.

Falling in Love perfume by Philosophy.

Trouser socks, as opposed to the white athletic socks I own.

Happy Halloween!

Hi Shannon:

I'm glad you received the cards from IKEA. Funny story: IKEA had those note cards hanging in frames, as an inexpensive way to decorate. You're definitely an IKEA customer at heart :-)

About the sweet potatoes: Matt says grocery stores will start carrying them as it gets closer to Thanksgiving. If you need them right now, go to the new Whole Foods store in Regency. Or, Matt said his Hy Vee at 78th and Cass carries them on a regular basis; and, it's just a few blocks from UNO. They usually cost around 89 cents/pound.

We missed you at our party last night. It was fun! Everyone stayed until about 1 a.m. Thanks goodness for that extra hour of sleep this morning!

Lindsey: Thanks for providing us with gift ideas for Christmas! I plan to get shopping this week.

Katie and Shannon: I need your lists, as well.

Love,
-Wendy
